Leadership Doesn't Fail From Lack of Knowledge.
It fails from deferred authority.
As a leader you already know what needs to be done. But something stops you. You delay. You soften the message. You wait for the right moment or someone else's permission.
That hesitation ripples outward. Into your team. Into your orgnaisation. Into your results.
Sovereign Leadership is an operating system that ends the cycle of authority deferral. It gives you the clarity to act, the structure to decide, and the conviction to lead even when it's uncomfortable.
Ben Hosking has spent more than a decade in law enforcement across covert and tactical roles in state and federal appointments and finished his government service as a decorated officer. After which he began studying Leadership at Deakin University to further his understanding of the lessons learnt in highly volatile rapid and dynamic environments formalising his knowledge in with tertiary qualifications.
During his study's he began to investigate the cost of decision making and the corresponding cost of failing to make decisions which gave birth the the meta-theory of Sovereign Leadership as an ontological operating system to guide leaders.
To learn more about his meta-theory, please continue to the Blog's that Ben writes to share his thoughts and views on how Sovereign Leadership can be used as a state of being to guide and govern the use of formal leadership theories in life.
In not making a decision, you aren't protecting yourself from the consequences. You are merely deferring responsibility and accepting a new cost.
